I am an artist from Atlanta, Georgia currently living in Chicago. 

I attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, focusing in Art Education.

My most recent body of work combines my interest in Painting, Performance, and Fiber.
I am interested in the way paint produces texture when applied to found material or various fibers. These materials act as a foundation for my paintings.

Within Performance, I am drawn to the ideas and images from my memories. I utilize imagery, sound, and objects to portray what it means to be a woman raised in the South. It is important that I try to incorporate the views and emotions of my audience to add dimension to my work.
